Testing deployment

This change was made locally and deployed through GitHub.

From the TicketRally dashboard, open Events and select Create event. Add the event name, description, venue, and basic sales settings.

A typical setup

Most events can be configured in a few minutes. You can also learn more about event settings if you need the full configuration reference.

Before you begin

Keep the event in Draft while you make changes. Have these details ready:

  • A public event name and short description.
  • At least one performance date and start time.
  • One or more ticket types with prices and availability.
  • A venue, or a seat map for assigned-seating events.

A simple workflow usually looks like this:

  1. Create the event and save it as a draft.
  2. Add performances and ticket types.
  3. Preview the customer-facing event page.
  4. Publish when everything looks right.

For example, a small production might use the following setup:

Setting Example Required
Event name Into the Woods Yes
Performance Friday, 7:30 PM Yes
Ticket type Adult · $28 Yes
Sales note Doors open 30 min early No

Add performances

Add each date and time when customers can attend the event. Ticket availability and pricing can be adjusted for individual performances when needed.

Publish when you're ready

Preview the event before publishing. Once published, customers can access the event through its public TicketRally page and any links you share.
